The Reason For The Crown

I'm often asked why I picked a crown as the PR Worx logo. My reasons are multiple:
1. God is the CEO of my business and as the daughter of The King of Kings, I am entitled to a crown.
2. PR Worx is the best PR agency in Africa, so we earned the crown.
3. Did I know that PR Worx would become the highest awarded marketing communications agency in Africa when I designed the crown logo? No, but I stood firm on God's promises right from the beginning and trusted Him (Jer. 29:11) and why I advocate an #attitudeofgratitude
4. Crowns traditionally represent power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honour, and glory, as well as immortality and righteousness. These are all strong adjectives that I want PR Worx to be known for.
5. I liked that some of the world's best brands have crown logos and I wanted to position my brand by association. Think of Rolex, Maserati, Moët et Chandon, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, KLM Airline, Royal Crown, Saab, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Hallmark, and of course, my favourite chateau in France: Vaux-le-Vicomte.
Branding is not as simple as coming up with a pretty or catchy design. It needs to represent you, what you stand for, your values, your focus, your dreams and your future aspirations.
