After a successful career working for both PwC (then Coopers & Lybrand), and as South African Airways’ Spokesperson and Head of global communications, I knew I wanted to be able to make my own decisions, smash my own goals, and make a real difference in the world. Quite simply put, I wanted more.
Wanting more is never a bad thing unless you want more because of greed, spite or envy. I have learnt that being humble in your successes will always get you further.
With over 25 years of experience across a broad spectrum of industries, many still considered male-dominated, I have achieved many accomplishments that I am proud of. I counsel multiple presidents and candidates on their political journeys, engage with international and local blue-chip companies and their C-suite, and run Africa’s Best marketing-communications agency, called PR Worx. Why? Because I have an #attitudeofgratitude and never take anyone, anything or any experience for granted. I also don’t let fear dictate my next move because I am driven by faith and I don’t settle for average. Ever.
